Jantina "Jenny" Bakker Plaatsman, 81, formerly of Fair Lawn, died March 6. She was born in the Netherlands. She was a member of Midland Park Christian Reformed Church, Midland Park. She was a volunteer at the Christian Health Care Center, Wyckoff, and the Corner Closet Thrift Store, Hawthorne. Surviving are two daughters, a son, two stepchildren, and two sisters: Aaltje of The Netherlands and Griet of Canada. Services were March 9 at Midland Park Christian Reformed Church, with interment in Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery.1
