     Stella Drenth was born on 14 November 1884 in Woldendorp, Groningen, Netherlands.3 She married Alfred Riehl.1 Stella Riehl died on 13 August 1937 in Teaneck, Bergen County, New Jersey, (Holy Name Hospital).3 She was buried in Ridgewood (Valleau Cemetery).3
     Stientje Drenthe immigrated with Jan Harm Drenth and Stella Drenth on the Spaarndam, from Rotterdam, arriving on 2 Mar 1896 in New York, with nine children: Jan (17), Aaltje (16), Anna (14), Stientje (11), Pieterke (9), Syfke (8), Reinkje (6), Derk (4), and Ernst (2). They were going to Hackettstown, NJ.2

Stella Riehl, wife of Alfred Riehl, of Vinters Lane, Paramus, died Friday morning, August 13, at the Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, where she had been a patient for 10 days. She was in her 53rd year, and had been ill since February. Mrs. Riehl was born in Woldendorp, Holland, Nov. 14, 1894, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Drenth. She came to this country in 1896 and settled in Meadville, Warren County, moving a few year later to Great Meadows in that County. For the past 23 years she had been a resident of Paramus. Surviving are her husband, Alfred Riehl, and 6 children. They are Alfred Jr., Elizabeth, and 2 sets of twins, Frederick and Angenita, and Ernest and Olive. She is also survived by 5 brothers, John Jr., Syfko and Ernest of Paramus, Rynjo of Easton, PA, and Richard of Kalamazoo, MI, and 4 sisters, Mrs. Nellie Spel of Ridgewood, Miss Anna Drenth of Paramus, Mrs. Elsie Miller of Little Ferry, and Mrs. Agnes Allen of Hackettstown. Funeral Services were held at her late residence ao 2 p.m. Monday, and at the Community Church on Midland Ave at 2:30 p.m., the pastor Rev. R. E. Eucleshimer officiating. Interment was in Valleau.4

Household consists of Jan Harm, his wife Stella and ten children: Tunis (May 1877), John Jr (Aug 1878), Annie (Nov 1991), Stella (Nov 1883), Pieterske (Feb 1886), Sypke (Mar 1888), Reintje (Mar 1890), Derk (Feb 1892), Ernest (Apr 1884), and Jennie (Dec 1896). All are born in Denmark, including John and Stella!5

Household consists of Jan Harm, his wife Stella and eight children: Anna (28), Stella (26), Nellie (24), Syfko (22), Rientje (20), Derk S. (18), Ernst (16), and Jennie (14), all are born in Holland.6
