Mrs. Kate Goodrich Schaaf, 85, of 377 East 21st Street, wife of the late Abraham Schaaf, died yesterday morning in Preakness Hospital after a long illness. She had been a resident at Hope Dell for three years. Born in the Netherlands March 17, 1876, she was the daughter of the late Ome and Gertrude Goodrich. She resided in Paterson most of her life. Her husband died Jan 1, 1957. Mrs. Schaap was a member of the People's Park Netherlands Reformed Church of Paterson. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at the Vermeulen Memorial Funeral Home, 131 Haledon Ave. Interment will be in Fair Lawn Memorial Park. Surviving are two sisters, Madeline Seymour and Minnie Voelkel, and a brother Jacob Goodrich, all of Paterson.1
