     Johannes Nijdam was born on 21 May 1902 in Netherlands.3,2,4 He married Anna May Venner.5,6 Johannes Nijdam died on 11 June 1956 in Midland Park, Bergen County, New Jersey, (119 Lake Ave).6,5 He was buried on 14 June 1956 in Paramus (George Washington Memorial Park).5
     Johannes Nijdam immigrated with Neeltje van Doorn on the Rijndam, from Rotterdam (Jan 7, 1905), arriving New York 18 Jan 1905. Her contact was her husband Reinder Nydam.1 Johannes Nijdam and Nellie Nydam were educated in 1915 in Christian School.7

Funeral services for Johannas Nydam, 54, of Midland Park were held yesterday at the J. H. Olthuis and son Funeral Home, 159 Godwin Avenue, with the Rev. Charles Post Jr., pastor of the Midland Park Methodist Church officiating. Interment was in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Mr. Nydam, a foreman for Isaac Degenaars Inc., Midland Park building contractors, died suddenly Monday morning at his home, 119 Lake Ave. He had resided in the borough for the part 6 yrs. Born in the Netherlands May 21, 1902, he had lived in Hawthorne and Morris, NY, before coming to Midland Park. Surviving, besides his wife, the former Anna M. Venner, are four sons, five brothers: Cornelius of Florida, Raymond and Jacob of Hawthorne, William of Midland Park, and Henry of Preakness; four sisters: Mrs. Marcel de Flaxeuie, Mrs. Clarence Conklin, Mrs. Henry Mulder and Mrs. Alfonso Gulmy, all of Paterson.5
