     Jantje Schaper was born on 21 April 1891 in Hemelumer Oldeferd, Friesland, Netherlands.1,2 She married Walter Leentjes, son of Folkert Leentjes and Popkjen de Vries.2,3 Jennie Leentjes died on 22 May 1983 in Wyckoff, Bergen County, New Jersey, (Christian Health Care Center).2 She was buried on 26 May 1983 in Paramus (George Washington Memorial Park).2
     Jantje Schaper immigrated on the Noordam, from Rotterdam, arriving 24 Jul 1911 in New York. She is from Balk, her contact in Holland is her father R. Schaper. She is going to Hohokus, NJ. Her contact is her uncle Auke Faber.4,3

Jennie Leentjes, who lived in Ridgewood for 70 yrs, died Sunday in the Christian Health Care Center, Wyckoff. Mrs. Leentje, 92, was born in the Netherlands. She was a member of the Faith Reformed Church of Midland Park. her husband Walter died in 1956. Surviving are 5 daughters and a son. A funeral service was scheduled for today at the J. H. Olthuis Funeral Home, 159 Godwin Ave., Midland Park. Burial will be in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.2
