     John Molenstra was born in 1897 in Netherlands.1 He married Anna Molenstra.1 John Molenstra died on 12 January 1975 in Ridgewood, Bergen County, New Jersey, (Valley Hospital).1 He was buried in Paramus (George Washington Memorial Park).1
     John Molenstra immigrated with Anje Molenstra on the Nieuw Amsterdam, from Rotterdam, arriving in New York on 23 Jan 1911, with four children: Johan (14), Anne (10), Antje (8) and Grietje (7). Her contact at home was her (step)father K. Bronkema in Leens. She was going to her husband Jan Molenstra in 99 Hopper Street, Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey.2

John Molenstra of 130 Dale Avenue died yesterday in Valley Hospital, Ridgewood. He was 78. Mr. Molenstra came to the US from the Netherlands as a young man. He had lived in Allendale for 19 yrs. He was aself employed mason-contractor. He was a member of the First Reformed Church of Ridgewood. Surviving are his wife, a daughter, 2 sons, a sister Anna Ramsey in California and two brothers, John of Midland Park and Andrew of Wyckoff. Services will be Wednesday in Vanderplaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes. Burial will be in the George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.1
