     George Dykstra was born on 16 August 1902 in Netherlands.1,2 He married Willmina Van Kluyve.1 George Dykstra died on 28 February 1972 in Passaic, Passaic County, New Jersey, (St. Mary's Hospital).1 He was buried on 1 March 1972 in Totowa (Laurel Grove Memorial Park).1
     George Dykstra immigrated in 1926.1

George Dykstra, 69, of Grove Street died Monday in St. Mary's Hospital, Passaic, after a six-months' illness. He was a retired foreman for Givaudan Chemical Co., where he had been employed for 41 yrs. Born in the Netherlands, he come to this country in 1926, and settled in Clifton. Mr. Dykstra resided for 25 yrs in Prospect Park, and moved to Wayne, where he lived before returning to Clifton about nine months ago. He was a member of the Men's Society of the Northside Christian Reformed Church of Clifton.
Funeral services will be Wednesday in the Gaita Memorial Home, 154 Route 23, Little Falls, with interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. He is survived by his wife, the former Willmina Van Kluyve, a daughter, and a brother and sister in the Netherlands.1
