Frederick J Frei was born in 1889 in Florida.2 Frederick J Frei appeared on the 1930 Census as the head of household at 11 Allen Place, with Annie M as wife, and their children John and William S.2 The value of the house was $11,700.2 Frederick J Frei was an executive at the Public Service Electric and Gas Company in Paterson.2,10 He owned a radio in 1930.2 Frederick J Frei was the first one to buy a house in Radburn. Before he came to Radburn, he lived in Paterson.9,10 Frederick J Frei and Annie M Frei moved before 1939 to 105 Hampton Place, Ridgewood.8
