W Alton Harrison was born in 1907 in New Jersey.2 W Alton Harrison appeared on the 1930 Census as the head of household at 1 Arlington Place, with Marie as wife.2 The value of the house was $11,900.2 Alton Harrison was a lawyer (general legal work), and in 1931 an attorney and the Recorder at the Borough of Fair Lawn and later also attorney for the Fair Lawn Board of Education. His office was in the Fair Lawn - Radburn Trust Building.2,3,4 He owned a radio in 1930.2 Alton and Marie moved before 1933 from 1 Arlington Place to Fair Lawn to 4 Aberdeen Place, but before 1939 they moved back into Radburn. In 1941 they are not listed.4,7,8
