     William C. Hoebee was born in 1903 in Netherlands.1 He married Mary Hoebee.1 William C. Hoebee died on 17 May 1975 in Ridgewood, Bergen County, New Jersey, (Valley Hospital).1 He was buried in Mahwah (Maryrest Cemetery).1
     William C. Hoebee immigrated with Catharina Hoebee on the Noordam, from Rotterdam, arriving in New York on 28 Aug 1911 with two children: William C. (9) and Ijsbrand (7). She was going to her husband Christiaan Hoebee at 11 North 8th Street (Ashley Heights) in 11 North 8th Street (Ashley Heights), Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey. Her contact in Holland is her father G. Oud, op Ameland. Last residence is Utrecht.2 William C. Hoebee was a dye maker for a bleachery.3

William C. Hoebee, 72, of 675 Ramapo Valley Road, died Saturday in Valley Hospital. He was born in Holland and lived the past 16 yrs in Mahwah. He was a semiretired superintendent of the Immaculate Conception Seminary in Mahwah. Surviving, besides his wife, are two brothers: Osborne of Wyckoff, and Frank of New Smyrna, FL. Mass will be Wednesday at the Immaculate Conception Seminary's Christ the King Chapel. Burial will be in Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah.1

Household consists of Ralph, his wife Josephine and seven children: William (17), Mary (16), Anne (10), Ralph (5), all born in Holland, Katherine (4 + 9 mo), Cornelia (10 mo), and Josephine (2 + 3 mo).3
