Nellie Lucas1

F, b. January 1863, d. 29 November 1917
     Nellie Lucas was born in January 1863 in Netherlands.1,2 She married Garret Lucas in 1890.2 Nellie Lucas died on 29 November 1917 in Ho Ho Kus, Bergen County, New Jersey, (Elmwood Ave).1 She was buried in Ridgewood (Valleau Cemetery).1
     Nellie Lucas immigrated in 1875.3

Her obituary appeared on 7 December 1917 in the Het Oosten
Mrs. Nellie Lucas, of Elmwood Ave, died Thursday afternoon in Hohokus at age 54. A week before her death she had been admitted to the General Hospital, but it was to no avail. She came with her parents from the Netherlands when she was ten, and lived always in Hohokus. Burial was in Valleau Cemetery (Original in Dutch).1
