1 Berkeley Place was occupied by Thomas P Knott from 1930 until after 1941.2,3 Thomas Knott appeared on the 1930 Census as the head of household at 1 Berkeley Place, with Mary as wife.2 The value of the house was $10,300.2 Thomas P Knott was a manager in a silk factory, and in 1931 a general manager in New York.2,4 In 1933 he was a clerk at the Textile Dying and Printinc Co at Wagaraw Road in Fair Lawn.5 He owned a radio in 1930.2
