Perscheid was born in 1894 in California.2 He married Ida in 1920.2 John Perscheid appeared on the 1930 Census as the head of household at 14 Brearley Crescent, with Ida as wife, and their children John and Ellen.2 The value of the house was $12,500.2 He did not own a radio in 1930.2 John Perscheid was a Veteran of the World War.2
