Leland A Chappelle was born in 1900 in New York.9 He married Ethel in 1925.9 Leland A Chappelle was a salesman (of fire apparatus), later a policeman.9,2,3 He owned a radio in 1930.9 Leland and his wife Ethel had one daughter Dorothy.9 Leland A Chappelle moved after the census from 4 Berkeley Place to the Bronx, New York, and in 1931 to 3 Brighton Place.3,8 Leland A Chappelle and Ethel Chappelle moved before 1939 to Morristown.6

Edward Sandala married Hattie.4 Edward Sandala was a photo engraver in New York.4 Edward Sandala moved before 1939 from 324A Plaza Road North to 3 Brighton Place.6 Edward Sandala moved before 1941 away from Radburn, as there was no longer an entry in the directory.7
