     In Radburn the City Housing Corporation sold a house at 7 Brighton Place to Roy S Crane of Rutherford.⁹

Roy S Crane was born in 1892 in New York.² He married Rita in 1928.² Roy S Crane appeared on the 1930 Census as the head of household at 7 Brighton Place, with Rita as wife. Enumerated with him was Sarah Crane, mother.² The value of the house was $9,000.² Roy S Crane was a draftsman, later an architect.^2,3,6 He owned a radio in 1930.² Roy S Crane and Rita Crane moved before 1937 to Fair Lawn.⁶

Sarah Crane was born in 1869 in New York.² Sarah Crane was the widow of Richard V.^2,3 Sarah Crane was a journalist.²
