William F Grimes was born in 1888 in Massachussetts.2 He married Hellan in 1921.2 William F Grimes appeared on the 1930 Census as the head of household at 11 Arlington Place, with Hellan as wife, and their children William F and Frederic A.2 The value of the house was $11,000.2 William F Grimes was an electrical engineer (with a public utility) in New York.2,3 He owned a radio in 1930.2 William F Grimes and Hellan Grimes moved before 1933 from 11 Arlington Place to 327 Howard Ave.4

Victor R Shockley married Dorothy D.4 Victor R Shockley was a manager in New York.4
